Lisa Fields' Family Child Care

Welcome and thanks for stopping to look at my family child care.  I am Lisa Fields and have been a licensed family child care provider in Hillsborough County since August 1992.  I am also the current President of the Tampa Home Child Care Providers Association.

In my family child care home, I believe that children should learn from trying new things.  We do lots of group projects.  The children in my care currently are all under 26 months old so while we do learn from doing, our day is more about investigating new things as a group rather than on an individual level, that will come as they get a little older.

Currently I have one opening for a child from infant though 4 years old.  If you are looking for licensed care in the Hillsborough and Dale Mabry area I would love to hear from you.  For more information on my back ground, rates, hours and location, please check my web sites by clicking on any of the pictures below or email me at timlisa1@earthlink.net .   If you prefer to call me (353-0957), that is fine, just know that during the day the children come first and if I do not answer leave me a message and I will return your call when I can.

Thank you again for stopping by, I hope to hear from you soon!

Infant Room

Although the infant come into the toddler/preschool room, pictured below you will see that the infants have their own space. Having a separate room for the infant allows for more floor time. Since quite often the infants are not on the same nap schedule as the older children, in this room they can have floor time while the older children sleep or have nap time while the older children are creating, learning and playing.

Toddler/Preschool Room

In this room is where you will find the toddlers and the preschoolers busy at play. Here we have "Circle Time", read lots of books, paint, play in sand, play in water, play with age appropriate toys, learn ABC's, 123's, shapes, colors, nap and much more! More important here all the children learn how to interact with one another, have fun and just be kids!

Outdoor Play

Weather permitting the children love to play outside. We try and get out each day to run off some of that childhood energy. I have a separate play area in my back yard that is just for all the children with an enclosed area for the infants as well.
